RIVERSIDE DINERS – A very nice meal was had at the Jug and Bottle Heswall.

EARTH FESTIVAL- Neston Riverside made its presence felt at this well attended, interesting event. Many thanks to Andrea for all her hard work.

WESTERN APPROACHES HQ – 12 of us had a very interesting afternoon at this museum and we enjoyed the hopscotch and dressing up as well as the fascinating history.


Please note that if you sign up for an event on the board you will be expected to pay for it whether or not you go, unless you can find a substitute.

AGM – Please approach any member of the committee if you wish to stand for election to the committee at the November AGM.

REMEMBRANCE DAY WALK - 10th November. Neston Riverside will be represented and will donate a wreath. If anyone would like to join in the walk please see a member of the committee.

SOUTH WIRRAL GROUP – Friday November 15th meeting, Neston Riverside’s turn to provide refreshments. Board tonight for help serving refreshments on the day. Tickets are required, £4 a head, please see Pauline. If you have promised cakes but are unable to attend please take them to Norma’s house on the day-see Norma for further details.

CHRISTMAS DINNER - 4th December at Pollards Inn, Willaston. Menu and board tonight. Please pay by November meeting.

ROBERTS BAKERY NORTHWICH - 19th February 2020. Cost including coach £13. Maximum of 22 only but we will have a reserve list. Board tonight. Information on what (not) to wear will be provided.

CHESTER CATHEDRAL CENTENARY CONCERT - 25th February 2020. 11am to12. WI members only. To celebrate 100 years of the Cheshire Federation. Tickets £4. Board tonight.

MAY MEETING 2020 – Next May will be the 75th anniversary celebration of VE Day. It has been suggested that we make that the theme for the May meeting with money raising events and that we donate money raised to CAMEO. CAMEO is a local group who support carers of people with dementia. We wish to know if members will support this proposal.
£30 was raised at the Earth Festival and with agreement of members we would like to donate this to CAMEO also.

SALES TABLE: The sales table is taking a break but will be back in January for Unloved Gifts. Please support it well as money raised does go to charity.
