RAFFLE – Donations of prizes would be very welcome.

CLAIRE HOUSE APPEAL - £65.00 was raised from the cake sale and has been donated.

STYAL MILL- We all had an interesting and enjoyable day out. The weather was very kind to us too.

LITTER PICK –18th May. Meet at the Royal Oak at 10am for 1 hour of making Neston look good.

ANGLICAN CATHEDRAL VISIT -22nd May 9.33 bus from Brook Street for 11.15 tour. Cost £5.00.

AL RAHMA MOSQUE -18th June Tour from 12-1pm. Cost £5 payable on the day. 10.03 bus from Brook Street, then the 75 or 80A bus from Elliot Street.
Dress code: all parts of arms and legs modestly covered, trousers or modest length skirt. Shoes removed and scarf covering head when entering chambers.

NESTON FAIR – 6th July Offers of help are welcome and contributions for a hamper to be raffled.

REAL FOOD KITCHEN- Tapas workshop - 9th July. 6 to 8pm. The list is now closed. Please pay NRWI £30.00 by the June meeting.

BIRTHDAY DINNER-17th July at the Little Fox. Cost approximately £25.00. Board tonight.

SOUTHPORT FLOWER SHOW -16th August. Cost £30.00 Board tonight.

CHESHIRE FEDERATION AUTUMN MEETING - 21st October Speaker Rev Kate Bottley. 11 to 3.30 at Mere Golf Resort and Spa, Knutsford. Tickets £14 including sandwiches, cake and soft drink. See members of the committee if interested.


GROUPS:

RIVERSIDE CLICKERS – Next meeting May 23rd, 2pm at Net’s Cafe. We are knitting men’s hats, scarves and gloves for the Ark and Smoothie hats for Age UK.

RIVERSIDE READERS – 3rd June 7.30pm at Sandra’s house. Discussing The Burning Chambers by Kate Mosse.

RIVERSIDE WRITERS – 5th June 2pm at Dee’s house. We are writing individual pieces beginning with the same opener: She sat down, put her mug on the table and sighed.
Anyone is welcome to come along and contribute or just listen. We do not take ourselves too seriously!

RIVERSIDE DINERS – 5th June 6.30 at Pollards Inn. Board tonight.

SATURDAY CLUB – 5 members enjoyed a trip to Burley Dam. Next meeting to be arranged.
