ILLNESS - Please see any member of the committee if you know of any of our members who may need our support.

SALES TABLE – Money raised from the Sales Table will be donated to the Wirral Churches Ark Project for the homeless. We hope you will continue to support it and, if there is nothing there you wish to buy, perhaps you would consider making a small donation for charity. There will be a container on the table for this purpose.

CLAIRE HOUSE APPEAL – Cakes and biscuits will be on sale with the teas and coffees to raise money for the Butterfly Appeal.

RAFFLE – Donations of prizes will be very welcome.

LITERARY LUNCH – Those who went had a lovely lunch and found the speaker very interesting.

QUIZ – Our team did its best and were only 6 points behind the winners (Helsby) but didn’t come in the top 3.

RESOLUTIONS – The 2 highest scoring resolutions were: Decline in Local Bus Services and Don’t Fear The Smear. If any members would like to attend the meetings to find out more about theses resolutions they will be held on Wednesday 24th April 1.30 at Frodsham Community Centre or Thursday 25th April 7.30pm at New Life Church Congleton.


STYAL MILL - 24th April. The cost including the coach is £31 for non National Trust members and £13 for NT members. Board tonight. Meet 9.15 at the Royal Oak. The plan is to leave Styal at 3.30.

LITTER PICK – This will take place on Saturday 18th May. Volunteers will be greatly appreciated. Meet 11am at The Royal Oak.

ANGLICAN CATHEDRAL - 22nd May. If you wish a leisurely visit to Liverpool and the Anglican Cathedral with the choice of lunch in Liverpool afterwards we will be catching the 10.03 bus from Brook Street.

NESTON FAIR – 6th July. A table has been booked and offers of games and help will be much appreciated.

REAL FOOD KITCHEN, NESTON – 9th July 6-8pm. It is hoped to arrange a group workshop to learn how to make tapas. If we get enough people interested the price will be £30. This includes a 2 hour workshop and a generous sampling of the produce afterwards.

BIRTHDAY DINNER - 17th July at the Little Fox. A menu will be available nearer the time. Cost approximately £25.00.

SOUTHPORT FLOWER SHOW - 16th August. Cost £30.00, including coach.


RIVERSIDE CLICKERS – Next meeting 2nd May, 2pm at Net’s Cafe. We are knitting men’s hats, scarves and gloves for the Ark and Smoothie hats for Age UK.

RIVERSIDE READERS– 29th April 7.30pm at Philippa’s house.

RIVERSIDE WRITERS – 1st May 2pm at Maureen’s house.

RIVERSIDE DINERS 1st May 6.30 at Pesto at Dibbinsdale

SATURDAY CLUB – 4th May at 11.30 at the Royal Oak. Outing to be arranged but bring your bus pass in case.
